Jim Houston, our District Governor, visited us to meet members and to promote the Rotary theme: ‘We’re for Communities’.

We held our annual Sportsman’s Dinner at the Salutation Hotel, and would like to thank everyone who contributed to a successful and enjoyable evening.

We held our annual concert for older adults. This year the entertainment was provided by a group from Jambouree and pupils from Kinnoull Primary School.
President Alexander Stewart handed over £750 to Joan McLean, Perthshire Women’s Aid and VP Helen MacKinnon presented £500 to Dr Colin Fleming of 10th Perthshire Scout Group to go towards their new building project.
We donated £2000 to medical charity “Face Facts”. Sean Laverick, a Trauma Surgeon who lives and works in Tayside, runs the charity and supports the project by providing his specialist skills in places like Pakistan and Afghanistan, treating patients who have suffered facial injuries.
